Our Vision, mission, and purpose
We are a Spirit-filled Church where everyone can be transformed by the hope and healing promised through Jesus Christ by connecting with God, growing in faith, serving others, and leading by example, daily.
ACTS 2:38-39 (KJV)
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call.
Core Values & Beliefs
These core values are the guiding principles that dictate our behavior and action. Our core values are derived from Acts 2:42:
ACTS 2:42 (KJV)
And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.
There is one God.
Jesus Christ is God manifested in the flesh.
Everyone must repent of their sins, be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ, and receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
Everyone must live holy, separated, and fruit-bearing lives, acceptable unto God.
Works do not save us; we are saved to do good works.
Jesus Christ appeared once to deal with sin. He will appear once more to bring eternal salvation. His second coming will be after the tribulation period.
Connect With God
When you connect with God, you receive God's power to live on! Initially, this is when you are born again; however, you develop a daily relationship with God that compels you to engage your community for Christ (John 3:3-8, 1 Corinthians 12:12-31; 2 Peter 1:3-4).
Grow in Faith
The ongoing pursuit of God will cause you to grow in grace, receive revelation, and provide wisdom and understanding of God’s principles to live by! Biblical foundations are solidified as you grow, and discipleship becomes a daily lifestyle (Ephesians 1:17-19, 2 Timothy 2:15 & 2 Peter 3:18).
Serve Others
Love for God and others fills you with joy as you discover you have a purpose to live for! Meditating on the revealed Word of God gives you the strength to minister uniquely in the kingdom of God (Romans 12:1-21, 2 Corinthians 5:16-21 & Hebrews 12:28).
Lead By Example
Continuing to experience transformation, you discover your profession to live out by serving and leading others to the hope and healing promised through Jesus Christ. In addition to your church ministry, you serve by answering the call to daily #CGSL, becoming a gateway to glory for everyone (Matthew 28:18-20, 1 Peter 2:9-10 & 2 Peter 1:5-11).
